It’s My Park Day

Austin Parks Foundation's biggest city-wide volunteer event, It’s My Park Day, has expanded to a Spring and Fall event! Each year, thousands of volunteers work to improve parks and greenbelts throughout the city, and this year we’ll be doing it twice. In 2015, there were nearly 100 projects city-wide, 3,000 volunteers, and 10,000 hours of volunteer labor. That’s equivalent to 5 park maintenance employees working full-time for a whole year!
