Sign up to create your fundraising page. Your page will be automatically populated with a picture and information about Hill Country Conservancy and the Lake Leap Challenge, so you'll be ready to start fundraising right away!
2. Ask your network to support your campaign
People give to causes they care about, and to causes their friends care about. By sharing your personal connection to the Texas Hill Country and your commitment to protecting our water sources and open spaces, you're helping connect new people to the mission and work of Hill Country Conservancy. Not sure how to get started? The Lake Leap Toolkit includes sample images, social media posts, and emails that you can personalize and send to your network. Or you can write your own content telling your own personal story—it's entirely up to you! As added motivation for your friends, they'll get to see you leap into chilly Lake Austin on December 3 if they help you reach your fundraising goal of $500!
3. Take the Leap!
No matter how much you raise, we'll invite you to our Lake Leap celebration on Saturday, December 3 to watch the lake leap and celebrate your support. But if you raise at least $500, you'll be invited to take your own chilly leap into Lake Austin! You'll be part of our annual Lake Leap video, and you can livestream your jump for your donors. Plus, you'll get an exclusive Hill Country Conservancy beanie to warm up afterward. And if you raise at least $1,000, you'll also receive a Hill Country Conservancy towel!
