Birding & Nature Hike at Pecan Springs Karst Preserve

April 13 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

Kick off your weekend with a guided birding and nature hike at Hill Country Conservancy’s Pecan Springs Karst Preserve. Whether you are an avid birdwatcher or picking up binoculars for the first time, we invite you to join us on the hike! Texas Master Naturalist and experienced birder Mikael Behrens will lead this walk, exploring the plants and animals that call the Preserve home.

Due to limited event capacity, advance tickets are required. No walk-up admission is permitted.

  • The hike lasts 2 hours and is an easy, slow pace with frequent stops.
  • All hikes are weather permitting
  • Please leave all pets in the comfort of your home
  • Feel free to bring your preferred binoculars and/or camera! We’ll also have some binoculars available to borrow.
  • Feel free to stay and explore the Preserve further after the hike. A ticket to this event also grants you entry to HCC’s open preserve day after the hike concludes—you do not need to purchase separate tickets.
