EPIC Member Event: Rock Climbing at Gus Fruh

Join Emerging Professionals In Conservation and Austin Ascents for a morning of climbing at Gus Fruh! Enjoy the Violet Crown Trail at the Barton Creek Greenbelt as you learn and practice climbing techniques, including belaying, climbing movement and safety skills.
All gear will be provided, including climbing harness, helmet, climbing shoes and ropes. This event is open to all skill levels. No previous climbing experience required!
About Austin Ascents: Austin Ascents provides instruction in rock climbing and offers SOLO Wilderness First Aid 2-day courses and Wilderness First Responder 9-day courses. They provide climbing classes and skills courses at all experience levels for people seeking to expand their skills and knowledge. Click here to learn more!
About EPIC: Emerging Professionals In Conservation, a program of Hill Country Conservancy, is an outdoors club dedicated to exploring and preserving the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country. Membership dues go to support Hill Country Conservancy’s projects in and around Austin and the Hill Country, including the Violet Crown Trail.
