Ropes Course

Challenge yourself and work collaboratively with your fellow EPIC members as you tackle high ropes elements at Austin Sunshine Camps in Zilker Park. The ropes course includes the following elements:

The Catwalk: one participant climbs up to a telephone pole suspended about 30 feet off the ground and then attempts to walk across the pole before being lowered down on a belay.

The Giant’s Ladder: two participants attempt to climb the giant ladder together.  Cooperation, communication, and problem solving as a duo are additional challenges beyond the physical challenge.
