Join us for a festive Trail or Treat: Halloween hike and happy hour on the Violet Crown Trail that also counts toward the Austin Trails Challenge! The Austin Trails Challenge encourages participants to explore and log as many miles as possible on Austin-area trails from mid-October through mid-November. This hike is a perfect chance to rack up miles, enjoy the fall scenery, and connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts.
We’ll meet at the 360 Trailhead and hike to the Zilker Trailhead and back. Costumes are highly encouraged, and we may even host a friendly costume contest with prizes! On our way back, we’ll stop at Rosy’s for refreshments to refuel and socialize.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on leash—don’t forget your poop bags! Whether you’re an EPIC member, an Austin Trails Challenger, or both, this event is a fun way to explore the trail, meet new people, and make the most of your miles.
