Urgent Tree Care: Mulching at Mile Zero

Help us save the trees at Mile Zero!

Last month, someone vandalized the irrigation system at the Violet Crown Trail’s Mile Zero Trailhead, disrupting water to the trailhead’s new trees!

While the irrigation system has since been repaired, several of the trees are now severely stressed from the loss of water and need some extra care to help them recover. Mulching will help retain moisture in the soil and protect the tree roots.

Join us to help save the Mile Zero trees and restore the beauty of the trailhead.  We’ll provide all gloves, tools, and training.
