Violet Crown Trail Cleanup at the Dick Nichols Trailhead

March 20, 2021 @ 10:00 am 12:30 pm

Show your love for the Violet Crown Trail by helping us keep the trail clean!

Please RSVP to ensure you receive important details and updates about this event

Join Hill Country Conservancy as we pick up trash along the Violet Crown Trail. This socially-distanced volunteer opportunity will be led by members of Emerging Professionals In Conservation (EPIC).  This volunteer event is open to anyone, and is a great way to get involved on the VCT! We’ll spend about two hours on the trail, picking up trash and enjoying a leisurely walk.

Choose one of two times – start at 10 or 10:30. Both groups will meet in the parking lot by the Dick Nichols Trailhead at Latta Drive & Convict Hill Rd, but each group will clean a different portion of the trail.

Please note: We are still taking covid precautions to keep our staff and volunteers safe. We are asking all volunteers to wear a mask when convening as a group or approaching a staff member or volunteer, and to keep a safe distance from one another while cleaning up on the trail.

About Emerging Professionals In Conservation: EPIC, a program of Hill Country Conservancy, is an outdoors club dedicated to exploring and preserving the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country.
