Virtual Birding + Nature Hike at Nalle Bunny Run
December 1, 2020 @ 9:00 am – 9:30 am
Since April 2020, Hill Country Conservancy and Master Naturalist Mikael Behrens have worked together to capture some remarkable footage of the plants and animals found each month on Nalle Bunny Run Wildlife Preserve.
Join us this #GivingTuesday as we take you on a tour to witness the environmental changes that happen throughout the year at Nalle Preserve. In addition to rewatching some of our favorite clips, we’ll premiere never-before-seen footage from the past summer. You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to produce a virtual nature hike at Nalle Preserve.
Click the register button to sign up, and we’ll send you all the information you need to join us at 9:00 AM December 1st!
ABOUT NALLE BUNNY RUN WILDLIFE PRESERVE
The 35-acre Nalle Bunny Run Wildlife Preserve is not only an environmental treasure, but an important habitat restoration project situated on the banks of the Colorado River. The preserve was donated to Hill Country Conservancy in December 2000 by the Nalle Family who wished for years to preserve the beloved “Bunny Run” for the public to enjoy. The conservation management of this preserved Lake Austin waterfront and proximity to Austin make the Nalle Bunny Run Wildlife Preserve a visual and environmental masterpiece.
